Directors Tuaine Marsters and Puai Wichman

Puai Wichman LLB – Managing Director

Puai is the Managing Director of Ora Fiduciary (Cook Islands) Limited, a registered Trustee Company in the Cook Islands, regulated by the Financial Supervisory Commission.

Puai has been involved in the Cook Islands financial services industry for over 25 years. His area of expertise is firmly focused on asset protection and the provision of international wealth preservation services. Prior to founding Ora Fiduciary, Puai spent a number of years working in very diverse areas of the offshore financial services sector including, banking, insurance and sophisticated cross border structuring.

Tuaine Marsters LLB – Director

Tuaine has a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. She comes on board as a Director of Ora, appointed in August 2015. When she is not in the office, she can be found discharging her official responsibilities as the First Lady to the Head of State of the Cook Islands.

Valentino Tefa’atau Wichman LLB QYL – Director

Valentino Wichman receipt of the prestigious Queens Young leader’s (QYL) award in June 2016 from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Valentino attended the University of Auckland and graduated with a Conjoint Law and Arts degree. Valentino is admitted to the High Court of New Zealand and the High Court of the Cook Islands as a Barrister and Solicitor.

In 2012 Valentino started employment with Ora Fiduciary (Cook Islands) Limited before moving on to work in the public service sector in 2013 with the Ministry of Health as Manager of Policy, Research, Monitoring & Evaluation. Valentino has developed many National Policies and Strategies including the development of the Cook Islands 5 year National Health Strategy and the 20 Year Health Road Map – a first in this part of the world.

Valentino was a member of the dynamic 2017 Budget Support Group (BSG) who looked at all the new proposals from agencies across the public sector and helped in prioritising the proposals in accordance with the Cook Islands National Sustainable Development Plan. These were then reflected in the Cook Islands 2017/2018 National Budget.

Valentino brings to the Board of Directors a highly transferable skill set in the area of strategic and legal planning.
Valentino is a very active advocate and campaigner for human rights which has led to the receipt of the prestigious Queens Young leader’s (QYL) award in June 2016 from Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II.

Gheias Ilyas LLM – Senior Legal Counsel

Gheias is a qualified and practising UK solicitor. He has previously worked at many UK regional law firms and has an extensive local, national and international client base. He is noted by clients as providing a first class and professional experience for all clients and goes the extra mile in order to put clients mind at ease.  Gheias brings a vast and extensive experience in various areas of legal practice including court related litigation experience.

Gheias was called to the Bar of England and Wales in March 1996 by the Honourable Society of the Middle Temple and has been in legal practice for over 20 years. A former Law Lecturer and University of Cambridge Law Assessment specialist, Gheias brings a breadth and depth of legal expertise to the team at Ora. Gheias graduated with a Master of Laws from the University of London in August 2015.

Terai Boaza LLB – Legal Counsel

Terai is an integral part of our legal team and is a graduate from the University of the South Pacific, Vanuatu campus. She is a Solicitor of the High Court of the Cook Islands and brings valuable legal expertise to our client services team.

Diana Ahsin – Manager Client Services

Diana has a strong background in company and trustee administration services, with previous trustee company and law firm experience. She brings maturity and experience to an area that demands professional and responsive services.
